Dwell on Design, well known for its expansive display of the latest innovations in product and architectural design, has also become a fantastic outlet for students and emerging design professionals. On the showroom floor, select architecture and design schools from all over the US presented their work to the Dwell community – clients, designers and/or producers – of design innovation.
This year, our partners at Georgia Tech College of Architecture, with support from the good people at Resource Furniture, made their way to Los Angeles, California to show conference goers what future architects are capable of and what the future of efficient micro-housing could look like.
Thanks to Pillars of Sustainable Education, students and faculty from Georgia Tech’s Zed-H Studio came to the three-day event armed with impressive (and intricate) 3-D printed models and graphic illustrations of their studio work. Their booth stole the show, as attendees gathered around in awe of the detail and innovation coming from these students.
